Arguably one of the best talents to emerge at Anfield in the past decade is 17 year-old winger Raheem Sterling. Key to new manager Brendan Rogers plans, the English starlet has already impressed
this season against Manchester City and in the Europa League against Hearts.
Last season Sterling put in a number of eye catching displays at youth level including the NextGen Series.Somewhat surprisingly overlooked for the recent England Under-21 squad, Sterling has a bright future for both club and country. With natural raw pace and excellent dribbling skills, Sterling has all the attributes.
The second NextGen Series has kicked off, described as the Champions League of youth football. With a number of new teams joining this year such as Chelsea, Arsenal, Juventus, Paris SG and CSKA
Moscow, the tournament promises to be a real spectacle for the future stars of world football. Last year fans were treated to talents such as Lucas Piazon (pictured) of Chelsea and Liverpool's Raheem Sterling.
